Practicing with me
Whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for ages, my classes always offer a blend of styles with modifications to build up or tone down your practice. Despite what our egos may tell us about what we can or should do, our bodies don't always agree so our yoga practice is different every time we step on the mat. I work with students to create a unique experience that meets them where they are on their mat now.
When you join one of my classes or workshops, you will see not everyone is doing the exact same thing. That's because I help my students tailor the postures and the practice to what their hearts inspire their bodies to do. For some, this means taking all the more challenging options, whilst for others this may mean more work with props, such as bricks and even chairs.
My students tell me when they leave class, they feel more vital, taller, calmer and like they've been to a class that was designed just for them. Staying present to where we are each time we step on the mat allows us to practice not just body yoga, but mind yoga, listening intently to what calls to us and connecting with our deepest sense of self.
